Universal Asset Management (UAM) has acquired an A319 (MSN 2339) for disassembly and component support.
Previously operated by Avianca and owned by SMBC Aviation Capital, the A319 aircraft landed at UAM’s Aircraft Disassembly Center (ADC) in Tupelo, Mississippi on July 26. It will be disassembled onsite to support UAM’s global aviation customer base.
“UAM is thrilled with the targeted purchase of this Airbus aircraft which further enhances our support for the aviation aftermarket,” states Michael Kenney, Senior Vice President for UAM. “With the newly-available inventory, we look forward to discussing key purchasing requirements with our airline, OEM and MRO Airbus customers.”
