A Southwest Airlines 737 aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at Cleveland Airport after a window broke in flight. The aircraft departed Chicago and was bound for Newark but diverted to Cleveland after about 20 minutes due to the window.
The aircraft landed safely and no injuries were reported. All 76 passengers were transferred to a new aircraft and the 737 was taken out of service “for maintenance review.”
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
