Oman Air Engineering

Oman Air Engineering and Maintenance Division provides aircraft engineering and maintenance services to the Company fleet of aircraft and third party customers at high standard of workmanship in the most effective and professional manner. The Division provides Technical Ground Handling to 31 Airline customers and other ad-hoc operators transiting through Muscat International Airport and B3 certification services to 23 airlines.

Oman Air provides aircraft maintenance and servicing facilities to the Company’s fleet or aircraft comprising of twelve Boeing 737NG’s and two ATR42-500s and third party customers in a safe and efficient manner.

The Base Maintenance Department is divided into the following Sections:

Aircraft Maintenance
Provide maintenance support to company fleet of aircraft by carrying-out periodic checks, such Check on B737NGs and Check including all major checks on ATR42-500.

Aircraft Components Repair & Support Workshop
Provides facilities to service, repair and overhaul aircraft components/equipments for Oman Air fleet and also third party customers such as The Royal Flight of Oman, Royal Oman Police Air Wing, Royal Guard of Oman and many other ad-hoc operators. The refurbishing and re-equipping of various workshops such as Sheet Metal & Composite Shop, Upholstery Shop, Safety Equipments, Wheels & Brakes, Engines & Propellers, Paint, Avionics and NDT have enhanced the in-house capabilities and provided a better and time saving quality service to meet the new company requirements and to our valuable customers.
