“The first half of 2018 saw stable volume growth in air transportation and jet fuel consumption. Factors such as the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, as well as the introduction of new routes from Russian airports to Europe and Asia have contributed to that growth. The volume of refueling has particularly increased in Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk and Yekaterinburg. Through expanding our international distribution network and maintaining our high level of services, we were able to achieve a significant milestone in June 2018: 30 million tons of jet fuel sold since the establishment of the aviation-fuel business of Gazprom Neft. We regularly monitor the most popular routes and continue to offer attractive terms of refueling in key countries,” said Vladimir Egorov, CEO of Gazpromneft-Aero.
