Recaro Aircraft Seating is equipping Icelandic airline WOW air’s Airbus fleet with around 100 CL4400 business class seats. The seats for the first three aircraft have already been delivered. Recaro Customer Service equipped the CL4400 with new seat covers. As a Certified Design Organization (DOA), Recaro also approved the modification of seat covers in the cabin. By the end of 2018, a retrofit program for the conversion of the seats of twelve existing aircraft will also be implemented.
The CL4400 business class seat successfully proved itself on short and medium-haul routes and will now also be used on WOW air long-haul flights. The seat stands out with its generously adjustable backrest. The headrest can also be adjusted individually. The business class seat offers passengers more privacy thanks to centre consoles instead of conventional armrests.
